I started Fit2Move after two back-to-back pregnancies. I used to be very active in my fitness routine and continued exercising during pregnancy, adapting my workouts as needed because I believed that a healthy body carries a healthy baby. Exercising always boosts my mood and makes me feel great. However, I quickly noticed a lack of pregnancy and postnatal fitness classes in Battersea, and surprisingly, there were no outdoor fitness classes available. Despite the unpredictable British weather, nothing compares to an outdoor session!
After giving birth (I experienced one natural birth and one c-section), I felt somewhat lost in my fitness journey. While focusing on my own rehab, I craved a sense of community and wished there were classes in the park near my home. This inspired me to qualify as a pre and postnatal fitness instructor and launch Fit2Move.
While I focus on pre and postnatal, I am also conscious that your fitness journey cannot end after your postpartum. This is why I am dedicated in helping anyone else (re)shaping their goals.
My goal is to create a supportive Battersea fitness community where mums, mums-to-be and anyone else can feel healthy, happy, and connected with others. I firmly believe in the power of exercising and its positive impact on both body and mind!
